Hot take: a 2% air content in your mix can cut 28 day strength way more than you'd guess
Was reading through an ACI doc while waiting on a pour in Fort Worth and it said every 1% of extra air knocks roughly 5% off your compressive strength. We were running closer to 4% on a slab pour because nobody checked the meter after the pump got switched. Anybody else had a batch come in hot on air and get a callback from the engineer?
