I finally bought a proper magnesium float after using a cheap wood one forever

Dropped about $85 on it last week and it made finishing a 20 yard driveway slab so much smoother. The surface closed up way faster with less effort. What's your go-to finishing tool that felt like a game changer?

First time I used one on a 4,000 square foot warehouse floor I couldn't believe I'd been doing it by hand for so long lol. The trick is to keep it moving constantly or you'll leave swirl marks that are a pain to fix later. Also, don't let the blades spin too fast on the first pass or you'll just burn the surface instead of smoothing it out. Once you get the feel for the speed control it's honestly hard to go back to manual finishing even on smaller pours.
