Noticed a trend where every pour gets accelerator now. My take? It weakens the slab over time.

Yeah I used to think it was just about speeding things up, no big deal. But a contractor I trust explained how it messes with the full cure and can lead to more cracks. So now I skip it unless it's absolutely necessary.

Oh man, @faithp36 is totally right about skipping the accelerator! I used to add it every time thinking I was saving hours, but that was a bad move. My driveway now has more lines than a roadmap from all the cracks.
