Power trowel blades or hand finish? Big job in Denver split our crew

Last month we poured a 12,000 square foot warehouse slab in Denver. Half the crew swore by the power trowel for speed, other half said hand finishing gives a denser surface. We did a test patch on the back section, both looked fine after curing. But I'm wondering about long term wear and cracking in high traffic areas. Anyone see a real difference after a couple of years on commercial floors?
