Spent $450 on a 'magic' concrete densifier that promised a mirror finish but just left a greasy film we had to grind off.
Has anyone found a densifier that actually works without causing more problems?

Heard some guys at the yard talking about LithiTek 4500 working well.

Yeah, that greasy film is the worst. @nathan193 is onto something with the LithiTek. Used the 4500 on my garage floor last year. Two coats, let it sit, then a light buff. Hard as a rock now and took a decent polish without that weird residue.

Wait, did you have any issues with dust or a chalky feel after buffing? I've seen that happen with the 4500 on a couple jobs. @nathan193 might have gotten lucky with his mix or his climate. In my experience, that product sets up way too fast to get a good polish without some kind of residue. You really need a longer open time to work it right.
