And here I thought the wasted half bucket was just my monthly donation to the concrete gods." Honestly though, for that much control you'd need to have a lab in your garage.

Haven't you found that hand mixing gives you way more control over the slump and consistency? I swear every time I order a yard it shows up either too wet or too dry and I'm stuck adjusting it on the fly anyway. Plus there's always that wasted half bucket at the end of the pour that sets up in the truck chute.
