Vent: Saw a bad pour at the new plaza downtown and it's already cracking

I was walking through the new Riverwalk Plaza project yesterday and the finish on the main walkway is a mess. You can see clear shrinkage cracks every few feet, and the broom lines are all wavy and uneven. It looks like they poured in the heat of the day and didn't keep it wet long enough. Has anyone else seen a job fail that fast, and what would you have done different?

Read an article saying the standards have actually dropped a lot.
