Why does nobody talk about fiber-reinforced concrete for driveways?
In my area, I've noticed more homeowners opting for fiber-reinforced concrete in their driveways. It's a bit more expensive at first, but from what I've seen, it cracks less over time.

No one talks about it? I'm surprised, since all the new builds on my street use fiber-reinforced concrete. Contractors around here push for it because it holds up better in our climate. The fibers stop those tiny cracks from turning into big ones, which saves money later. Sure, it costs more up front, but you won't be paying for repairs every few years. It's a no-brainer for anyone planning to stay in their home long-term. Maybe it's just not well-known yet, but it should be.

Honestly, @lily110 nailed it with the climate point... Fiber-reinforced concrete just holds up better over time. It's a shame it's not more common knowledge yet, but hopefully that changes.
