Guy at the gun show told me the moon landings were filmed in a desert in Nevada
He was dead serious. Pointed at a patch of dirt outside the convention center and said they used that exact type of gravel. I asked him how they faked the zero gravity and he said wires and slow motion. Then he tried to sell me a survival knife. Anyone else run into these guys where they mix hard facts with total nonsense?

Nodded along with a guy like that at a flea market once, had to bite my tongue so hard I almost drew blood lol. He swore the flag waving was a smoking gun for the hoax, then pulled out a "NASA document" that was clearly a printout from a blog. I told him I barely passed high school physics, so maybe he was right, but even I know vacuum chambers exist. He got real quiet and then tried to upsell me a flashlight. Guess the gravel monologue is the appetizer before the survival gear sales pitch, huh?
