Is it just me or does 15 years on a forum feel like watching a whole little city grow up around you? I've been on a gardening forum for like 12 years and its wild to see people who started as clueless newbies now giving advice to others. Makes you realize how much we all just learn by sticking with something, even if its just a weird corner of the internet.

Does anyone else ever wonder if we're gonna be the last generation that even knows what forums are? I keep seeing these old posts from like 2008 and its crazy how much this place has changed. The whole vibe of the internet is different now, everyone's on tiktok or discord arguing about things. Forums feel like a dying art or something, but at least we got the memories and the inside jokes that nobody outside would get.
