Just hit 1000 hours on my conspiracy research and the flat earth stuff is only 2%
I started tracking my time spent on different theories about a year ago, and I was sure flat earth would be a bigger chunk. Turns out most of my deep dives are on JFK, 9/11, and weird stuff like the Denver Airport. I guess the simple ones don't hold up as long. Anyone else track their research and get surprised by what they spend the most time on?

It's like that with hobbies too, the simple ones never last.

Funny, I used to think flat earth would be the biggest rabbit hole too. Spending real time on it just shows how shallow it is compared to the layers in something like the JFK files. Elizabeth220 has a point about that matching how things go in other areas. The simple ideas fall apart fast when you actually look close.
