Last Tuesday was the worst day of my work week in months

I work at a print shop in downtown Cleveland and last Tuesday everything went wrong. First, the big printer jammed 3 times before 10 AM and I lost a rush order for $400 worth of flyers. Then a customer came in yelling about a misprint from last week that wasn't even my fault. By lunch, I had spilled coffee on a stack of finished business cards and had to reprint them for free. I swear the whole universe was against me that day. Has anyone else had a single day where everything just falls apart like that?

A small correction about the coffee - those business cards were probably already a loss if the coffee soaked through the box, even if you wiped them off. The moisture gets trapped and the paper ripples, so you definitely had to reprint them. That 10 AM printer jam on a rush order though, that's the kind of thing that makes you want to walk out and never come back.

Man, that printer jam timing is just brutal...
