My overnight stakeout at the 7-Eleven in Tulsa changed how I see the moon landing footage
I was out at 3am getting gas and this guy in a camo jacket starts ranting about how the shadows in the Apollo 11 photos prove it was all a studio setup. He showed me a side-by-side on his phone and honestly, the angle difference was wild, but then he bought three lottery tickets with exact same numbers. Has anyone else run into these 'photo forensic' people who totally ignore the physics of lenses?

That angle difference was wild" is the part that gets me. Did you ask him which specific photo he was talking about, cause I've seen that comparison floating around and it's usually the one with the flag where the shadow direction looks off. But lenses, especially wide angle ones, bend light in ways that mess with your perception. What I wanna know is if you asked him about the camera specs on the surface, cause the Apollo guys used a 60mm lens that creates that exact kind of distortion. Did he have an answer for that, or did he just go back to his lottery numbers?
