PSA: My boss is convinced our weekly reports are part of some corporate spy game.

He keeps hinting that the data is being used against us. Is this normal or should I be worried?

My old boss did the same thing with time sheets, lol.

Hey @the_lisa, time sheet drama is the worst. My last job had us rounding to the nearest quarter hour, but the boss would still nitpick over five minutes. It felt like we were being watched by a clock robot. Did your old boss make you justify coffee breaks too?

Weekly reports are usually just to track progress, not for spying. In my experience, that data is mostly for internal stuff, like showing what your team got done.
