Saw a guy at the gas station last night with a whole trunk full of aluminum foil hats

He said he's been making them since 2020 after he caught his neighbor using a drone to read his mail. Any of you guys actually making these or just buying them online?

Read somewhere that aluminum can actually amplify signals instead of blocking them.

Yeah the "amplify instead of block" thing is what my buddy Mark found out the hard way. @kaip11 hit it on the head there. He was trying to shield his wifi router from his neighbor's interference last year, so he wrapped the whole thing in heavy duty foil. Thing got so hot it melted the plastic casing and killed the router. He said his signal actually got worse before it died too.
