Shoutout to the sparrow that killed my 'birds aren't real' belief
I totally bought into the 'birds aren't real' conspiracy from memes online. Then a sparrow flew into my dog grooming shop last Tuesday and got stuck. I watched it panic and flap against the glass, and it just felt too alive to be a drone. So I went home and dug into videos that claim to show drone birds. I found out most of them use obvious editing tricks to fake the evidence. My buddy who tinkers with electronics said making drones that small and realistic is impossible with today's batteries. After seeing the real thing and checking the facts, I had to let go of the idea. Now I see it as a clever internet joke that some people take too seriously.

My buddy's cousin actually works in some tech lab. They had a dead pigeon on site last month, so he cut it open out of curiosity. Just feathers, guts, and bones inside. He told my friend it was the most real fake thing he'd ever seen.
