Talked with a retired pilot at my dad's garage. He said 9/11 was an inside job and gave me 3 specific reasons that actually made me stop and think.

I was helping my dad clean out his garage last Saturday and his neighbor Bob came over, flew for Delta for 30 years. He brought up how Building 7 fell at free fall speed and said no plane hit it, just fires. Then he mentioned the passport found on the street from one of the hijackers, how impossible that is with a jet fuel explosion. And he said the air defense protocols were changed that morning which seemed deliberate. I always wrote off 9/11 truthers as crazy but Bob is super logical about everything else. Anyone else have a conversation with a professional that made you question a mainstream story?

Is this really that deep though? Like, a pilot knows how to fly a plane, sure, but that doesn't make him an explosives expert or a conspiracy investigator. The passport thing always gets me because yeah, it's weird, but weird stuff happens in chaos and a lot of that stuff was later debunked by actual forensics. Building 7 fire damage was unprecedented, so using video game physics to judge it is kind of pointless.
