That time the 9/11 truther at the bar made me question my own beliefs
I was at this dive bar in Akron last spring, just having a beer after a rough shift, and this guy next to me starts going on about how the Twin Towers fell too neat and clean. I rolled my eyes at first, figured he was just another loudmouth. But then he pulled out his phone and showed me this slow-motion video of Building 7 dropping straight down, no wobble, no tilt. It hit me that I'd never actually looked at that footage myself, I just assumed the official story was complete because that's what I heard on the news. Spent the next hour digging through articles on my phone, and I realized I'd been taking everything from one source without ever questioning it. Now I'm not saying I buy into any wild theories, but that moment made me rethink how I consume any big news story. Has anyone else had a random encounter that cracked open a door you didn't even know was closed?

Did you actually fall for anything in those videos or just waste an hour watching?
