That week in July when everything went wrong at once still haunts me
I'm talking the third week of July 2023 at my shop in Austin. My delivery driver quit on Monday, the AC unit died on Tuesday, then a customer accused me of overcharging them for a repair they specifically asked for. By Friday, my main supplier sent me the wrong parts for a big job and I had to pay $400 for rush shipping to fix it. The bank also flagged my account for fraud because of the weird payment patterns, freezing my money for three days. Has anyone else ever had a week where the universe just seemed to be testing you?

Three hundred dollars for rush shipping? That stings but come on man, its not like you lost a limb or something. AC dying in July in Austin is annoying but that's just Texas doing its thing, lol. The bank freezing your account is a hassle but it sorted itself out in three days, right? I've had way worse weeks where actual emergencies happened. Sounds like a bad few days but not exactly universe testing you level stuff.

You ever have one of those weeks where the universe just throws a bunch of medium sized problems at you and you can't even be mad because they're not tragic, just exhausting? I had a stretch like that last summer. My water heater broke on a Tuesday, then my car's alternator died on the way home from the hardware store. Nothing life threatening, just a series of expensive inconveniences that had me sitting on the curb at 9 PM wondering if I had accidentally offended some kind of household appliance god. Your bank thing and AC and rush shipping sounds like that same vibe.
