Took the JFK files claim at face value, turns out the source was a retired dude with a blog

I was ready to buy into the whole second shooter theory after watching a 3 hour doc on YouTube last Tuesday. But then I looked up the key witness they kept quoting, and his 'expertise' was a self published site with no dates or photos. Anyone else ever trace a big claim back to something flimsier than a wet paper bag?
