Went back to my hometown's old radio tower site and something felt off

I drove out to the abandoned AM transmitter tower outside Abilene last weekend, the one that's been offline since 2009. The fence was cut open and there were fresh tire tracks all the way to the base, but no equipment marks or footprints around the door. Anyone else notice these old broadcast sites getting messed with lately, or am I just seeing patterns where there's nothing?
