Appreciation post: Cold pizza for breakfast is way better than hot pizza for dinner
I know everyone loves a fresh slice straight from the oven, but hear me out. I grabbed a leftover piece from last night's delivery around 7am this morning, straight from the fridge. The cheese gets this weird firm texture and the crust turns kinda chewy in a good way. My roommate walked in and called me a monster. But I swear it hits different, like the flavors settle overnight. Why do people act like this is some crime? Am I the only one who prefers it cold?

The cheese gets this weird firm texture" - oh dude you nailed it. That's exactly the part that makes cold pizza elite. But here's the thing nobody talks about: it's actually better for your digestion. When pizza sits overnight, the starches in the crust kinda crystallize or whatever, which makes them harder for your body to break down. That means you get less of a sugar spike and it keeps you full way longer than a hot slice would. My buddy who's a nutrition nerd explained this to me once. Plus the cold kills off some of the grease so it's not sitting heavy in your stomach at 8am. So really we're the smart ones here, not monsters.

Wait, you're saying cold pizza is literally healthier? That's insane if true, man.
