Appreciation post: people who eat cold pizza are right and I'm done arguing
My roommate in Austin microwaved leftover pizza for 90 seconds last Tuesday and I watched him do it with zero shame, which is objectively the wrong move. Cold pizza just works better, the cheese firms up, the sauce gets that tomato kick, and the crust holds its shape instead of flopping like a wet sock. I know this sounds like a small thing but I've been eating cold slices for 15 years and nobody has ever given me a real reason why hot is better besides "it's how it's served." The microwave version gets rubbery in about two minutes flat, and reheating in the oven takes 12 minutes for something I can eat right now. Fight me on this or tell me the actual best way to reheat a slice without wrecking it, I'm genuinely curious what you all do.
