Appreciation post: the $2 box of saltines that ended a 30 year war

My wife has put pineapple on pizza since we met, and I've fought it every single time. Last Friday I grabbed a box of saltines for 2 bucks on a whim to go with soup. She crunched one up on top of her slice and now we both eat it that way, no more arguments about toppings. Why do cheap crackers settle what fancy kitchen debates never could, anyone else got a snack that brokered peace in their house?
