Hot take: Peanut butter on hot dogs is actually good and I can prove it

My buddy called me out at a barbecue last summer in Denver for putting peanut butter on my hot dog. Said it was a crime against food. I told him to try it at least once before judging. He did and now he puts it on his too. The trick is you gotta use crunchy peanut butter and add a little sriracha on top. The salt from the nuts with the sweet relish just hits different. Anyone else got a weird topping combo people always hate on before trying?

Oh wow, that's actually genius! I bet the sriracha is the secret weapon here, cutting through the richness. Now I'm wondering if adding a tiny drizzle of honey instead of relish would make it even better... a sweet and spicy peanut butter dog would be wild.

Wait wait wait... honey on top of that? Not gonna lie, that kinda scares me but I'm also real curious now... Like peanut butter is already borderline dessert territory for some folks, adding honey might push it over the edge into weird candy hot dog territory. But then again I said the same thing about sriracha at first and look how that turned out... That sriracha kick really does wake everything up though, cuts through the peanut butter so it doesn't get all heavy and gross. Might have to try that honey thing on a cheap hot dog first before I waste a good one though... just in case.
