I put hot sauce on my apple slices as a joke and now I can't stop
My buddy dared me to try it at his cookout last weekend, so I grabbed a bottle of Cholula and gave it a shot. The sweet crunch of the apple with that tangy, spicy kick was actually amazing, like a weird fruit salsa. I've done it four times since then, even had it with breakfast yesterday. Anyone else ever mix a savory sauce with a fruit snack and have it work out?

My grandma used to sprinkle a little salt on her watermelon. I tried it once and it just made the melon taste sweeter. I guess sweet and salty, or sweet and spicy, just clicks sometimes.
