I tested dipping fries in a milkshake versus a frosty and the winner was clear

For a week straight, I tried dipping my salty fries into a regular vanilla milkshake from a local diner and then into a Wendy's Frosty. The Frosty's thicker texture and that hint of chocolate made the sweet and salty combo work way better. The diner shake was too thin and just made the fries soggy in about 10 seconds. The Frosty coated them perfectly without falling apart. Anyone else have a weird but perfect dipping combo they swear by?

Wait, I actually had the opposite experience. I find the Frosty melts too fast and gets weirdly sticky, but a good thick diner shake holds up better for me. Maybe it depends on the specific shake you get.

Yeah but that's the thing, a Frosty isn't really a shake. It's its own thing, like a super thick chocolate milk that's meant to be eaten with a spoon at first. A diner shake is all about the thick texture holding up. The Frosty gets weird if you treat it like a normal shake and just try to drink it right away. You gotta let it sit for a minute or two to soften up properly.
