Just realized how much my town's pizza place changed their Hawaiian pizza

They used to put big, wet pineapple chunks on it. Made the crust soggy. About a year ago, they started grilling the pineapple first. Now it's caramelized and way less watery. Totally changed the whole snack for me. Anyone else notice a spot near them doing this?

Totally agree it's a game changer! I was skeptical too until I tried it. A little char from the grill makes it so much sweeter, almost like candy. I throw it on right after the burgers come off.
