My local gas station's nacho cheese went from perfect to watery in like two months

It used to be thick and stuck to the chips, but now it's this thin orange soup that just runs off. I think the new manager switched to a cheaper brand or maybe they're watering it down to make it last longer. I'm honestly mad about it because that cheese was my go-to snack after work. Has anyone else had a snack spot ruin a good thing like this?

Our 7-Eleven's taquito cheese sauce turned into orange water last year too.

Actually, that orange water is probably just the oil separating out (which happens to all cheese sauces sometimes). They likely just needed to stir the warming pot a bit more. The flavor is probably still fine, it just looks weird.
