My roommate converted me to putting hot sauce on popcorn

I used to think plain butter was the only way, but she made a batch with a few drops of Cholula about six months ago. The tangy heat cuts through the salt and fat in a way I never expected. Anyone have other weird popcorn toppings that actually work?

My friend puts tajin on hers and it's a total game changer.

Vera's friend is onto something with that tajin. I've found it works best if you sprinkle it on right after you cut the watermelon, while the surface is still a little wet from the juice. Let it sit for maybe five minutes before eating, gives the chili and lime time to soak in a little.

My buddy Mark tried tajin on his watermelon last summer and now he won't eat it any other way. I can see why @vera_brown40's friend is hooked, it really does change the whole flavor.
