My roommate put ketchup on mac and cheese and I almost called the landlord

Last Tuesday I walked into the kitchen and saw my roommate Tony dumping a full packet of ketchup onto a bowl of leftover mac and cheese from the night before. He swirled it around like it was normal. I just stood there holding my coffee mug and staring at the orange and red mess. He said "try it, it cuts the creaminess" and I told him no way. Ive lived with four different roommates over the past six years and never saw this before. Now Friday he did it again with the spicy ketchup from the burger place. Is this a regional thing or is my roommate just a monster? Has anyone else caught someone doing this and did you eventually give in?
