Noticed a big shift in how people talk about putting ice cream in their cereal
About five years ago, saying you poured vanilla ice cream over your corn flakes would get you weird looks at a breakfast place in Portland. Now I see it on social media all the time, especially with fancy gelato. I think it started when a few big food blogs called it a 'dessert hack' for adults. Has anyone actually tried this, or is it just for pictures?

Wait, is this just part of everything getting rebranded as a hack? Like @jesse290 said, it's old stuff coming back. I see it with cooking all the time, someone puts ketchup on a hot dog and calls it a life hack. Feels like we're just giving fancy names to normal things so they feel new and special for social media.
