Overheard a girl at 7-Eleven say ranch on pizza is better than normal pizza sauce

I was grabbing a Slurpee around midnight and this girl was dead serious defending ranch as a pizza base. She said the tangy cream cuts through the grease way better than tomato sauce. Does anybody actually do this or was she just trolling?

dude honestly I feel her pain on this one. I tried it once at a party where someone ordered a white pizza with no red sauce and I grabbed the ranch bottle out of desperation. It actually works way better than I expected, especially on thick crust or stuff with a lot of toppings. The cold ranch kinda balances out all that hot greasy cheese in a weird way. Not saying I'd do it all the time, but I get why someone would swear by it. She might have been messing with you but there's real logic behind the madness.

Exactly. I've been saying this for years. The trick is to not drown the slice in ranch, just a light drizzle across the top like you would hot sauce. It cuts through the salt and grease way better than you'd think, especially if the pizza has pepperoni or sausage on it. Also works great if you dip the crust in it instead of marinara, gives it a whole different feel. People just write it off as weird without trying it, but there's definitely a method to the madness. Just don't go overboard with the amount or you'll ruin the whole thing.
