PSA: My grandma's trick for soggy cereal actually works
Honestly, I used to think milk made cereal soggy way too fast, especially with something like Frosted Flakes. My grandma in Phoenix told me to pour the milk in the bowl first, then add the cereal on top. Tried it last month and it's a total game changer, you get a crunch in every bite. Anyone else have weird family snack hacks that sound wrong but work?

Read that in a magazine once, actually.

Yeah, because @noah914, magazines are the peak of reliable info these days. Next you'll tell me you fact-checked it with your fortune cookie. What was it, a ten year old copy of Reader's Digest in a dentist's office?

I mean, @ryanh91, you're not wrong about the Reader's Digest thing actually. My grandma used to keep stacks of those from like 2003 in her bathroom and I swear half the "medical breakthroughs" in there were just ads for copper bracelets. Idk, there was this one issue I remember that had a whole article about how cracking your knuckles gives you arthritis and my uncle swore by it for years until a doctor finally told him that was debunked like a decade before. It's funny how old magazines just hang around in waiting rooms forever spreading outdated info like it's gospel. Maybe it's just me but I feel like we're all just one dentist appointment away from believing some random fact from a 2007 issue of National Geographic.
