Rant: Ranch dressing on pizza changed my mind at a bowling alley in Ohio

I was at a birthday party last month in Akron and the place ran out of marinara. Someone offered me ranch instead. I figured it would be a disaster but I was hungry. Honestly it worked better than I thought on a greasy pepperoni slice. Now I keep a bottle in my fridge just for leftover pizza. Does anyone else have a weird sauce swap that actually worked out?

Did you try it on a slice with pineapple? I dipped Hawaiian in buffalo sauce once and it was LEGIT.

wait but you gotta call it buffalo chicken not buffalo sauce if its just the sauce on pizza, the chicken is what makes it buffalo. unless you meant you literally just dipped a plain slice in buffalo sauce which is a different thing. i feel like the spicy and sweet from the pineapple would slap though, might try it this weekend.
