Spent $8 on pickle flavored potato chips and I'm still mad about it

I grabbed a bag at the gas station last night thinking they'd be tangy and good. Took one bite and it tasted like someone waved a pickle over the chips and called it done. No crunch, weird aftertaste, just a waste of money. Anyone else get burned by a limited flavor that sounded way better than it was?

Is it just me or are snack companies getting lazier with their "limited edition" flavors? They slap a cool name on the bag and the actual taste is barely there. I got burned by spicy dill pickle chips last summer, paid $7 for a bag that tasted like salted cardboard with a hint of vinegar. Makes me wonder if they think we'll buy anything once and never complain.

Same here @julia_jones72, I only buy limited editions from brands I already trust, learned that the hard way.
