Stopped at a gas station in Knoxville and saw a snack I can't believe people buy

They had a whole rack of pickled pigs feet right next to the beef jerky. I watched three people grab a jar in the ten minutes I was there. How is that a road trip snack? It's a jar of vinegar with a foot in it. I tried one once on a dare and the texture was like cold, rubbery fat. Who wants to eat that while driving? Give me a bag of chips any day. Has anyone here actually finished a whole jar of those things?

Absolutely. My neighbor paid over a hundred bucks for a fancy metal straw set last year. It came in a velvet pouch. He used it twice. Now it just sits on his counter collecting dust next to the regular plastic straws he actually uses.

Eh I kinda get why he bought them though. You ever bite down on a plastic straw wrong and it just crinkles up on you? That's annoying enough to make someone try something different.
