Hot take: my old boss swore I needed a license before doing lashes, and she was dead wrong
She told me 3 times over a year that doing lash extensions without a cosmetology license would get my chair shut down, so I skipped out on $2,400 in side bookings. Turns out my state only requires an esthetics license for that, which I had the whole time, and I spent a whole year turning away clients. Anybody else get fed a rule by someone who meant well but had the regs wrong?
