I finally caved and tried that bond repair treatment everyone's been hype about

Been doing hair for 8 years and I always thought those bond repair products were just expensive marketing fluff, especially after a client brought in a bottle that smelled like rotten eggs lol. But last month I used it on my sister after she fried her 3B curls with a bad box dye and I swear her hair felt like normal after just two treatments. Has anyone else had a product they were super skeptical about totally surprise them?
