I finally stopped using those cheap drugstore toners and switched to a salon brand

I used to buy whatever toner was on sale at Target for like $8 a bottle. Last month I grabbed a bottle of Redken's acid bonding concentrate on a whim from my distributor and the difference is NIGHT and day. My highlights have this shine that lasts a whole week longer and my hair doesn't feel straw-like after processing. Has anyone else made a similar switch and noticed a big shift in your clients' results?

You sure salon brands are actually different or is it just the price tag playing tricks on you?

Oh so @lee627 thinks I'm just paying for a fancy label and not actual results? Tell that to my clients who stopped complaining about their toner fading after 2 washes haha. I'd stack a bottle of Redken against any $8 Target toner blindfolded and let the shine do the talking.
