My color mixer clogged mid-session on a Saturday in Detroit
I was doing a full highlight for a regular client and my color mixer just stopped pushing product halfway through. The motor started making this grinding noise and then nothing. I had to hand mix the rest of the bowl which took forever and threw off my timing. Has anyone else had a machine fail like that in the middle of a busy day?

Oh that grinding sound is awful, I had my blow dryer actually shoot a spark out at a wedding once and caught a napkin on fire!

Man that is WILD! @dakota_murphy90 you really got me thinking about how we just trust these little appliances so blindly without ever looking at them twice. I swear it's like the universe sends you a warning sign with a grinding noise or a weird smell but we just ignore it because we're busy or whatever. It's the same with my car or even my fridge making that weird hum, you know? People just keep using stuff until it literally explodes or catches fire and then act shocked. We really need to pay better attention to the little warnings before it's too late.
