Old school roller sets versus air drying with a diffuser, no contest

Honestly, I went back to doing roller sets for my clients with fine hair after years of diffusing and it's night and day. The volume lasts 3 days instead of falling flat by lunch the next day. My aunt taught me the wrap method back in 2018 and I ignored it for too long. Has anyone else switched back to an old technique that just works better?

Yeah the wrap method gives way more root lift than pin curls. The tension from wrapping the hair tight around the base pulls the roots straight up instead of letting them sit flat. Once you get the technique down it's a total game changer for volume.
