Question about those expensive online color courses

I paid $350 for a 'master colorist' course last fall, thinking it would help me get more clients. The videos were just basic stuff I learned in school, and the 'private group' was dead. On one side, maybe I just picked a bad course. On the other, are these online classes ever worth the big price tag? Has anyone else found a good one, or should we all just save our money?

Totally get that feeling, it's such a letdown. Honestly, the price tag doesn't always mean better quality, some of the best tips I've found were in smaller, cheaper groups. What kind of color work were you hoping to learn?

Man, that reminds me of a friend who bought a crazy expensive course on social media ads. She showed me some of the videos and it was just, like, how to make a Facebook page. Stuff you could find for free in five minutes. The whole thing felt like a fancy box with nothing new inside.
