The hold 3D printed mannequins have on my stylists is wild

Honestly, I ordered a pair of those clear 3D printed mannequin heads for my booth last month, just to see what the hype was about. Turns out, they don't grip pins the same way, so my updo practice took twice as long. But I found out from a cosmetology trade blog that they're actually weighted to mimic real head movement, which blew my mind. Has anyone else switched over and noticed their pin placement game got worse before it got better?

Read they mimic real head weight, so yeah, it messes with muscle memory at first.
