Man, that sounds so frustrating. Seeing all that broken hair must be heartbreaking after you warned them. It's crazy how people don't get that saving on the toner or olaplex just starts a way more expensive cycle of damage. You end up doing total rescues instead of the fun creative work.

Exactly, it's that cycle of damage that kills me. They skip the twenty dollar treatment to save money, then need three hundred dollars of corrective color six months later. The math just doesn't work out for them, and we're left fixing a mess that was totally avoidable. It honestly takes the joy out of the job when you're just undoing damage instead of creating something new.
