My co-op buddy and I hit 400 hours in one save file and I don't know if I should be proud or scared
So my buddy Dave and I pulled up our shared save in Divinity Original Sin 2 over the weekend and the clock read 412 hours. Four hundred and twelve. I sat there staring at it while Dave was in the kitchen making nachos like this was a normal Sunday. We started this run back in March of 2023 when his wife was pregnant with their first kid, so a lot of those hours were us playing with a baby monitor on the coffee table, whispering into mics so we wouldn't wake the little guy. The crazy part is we still haven't finished the game. We keep restarting because one of us gets bored of our build or we find some new cheese strat on YouTube and decide to reroll. Last month we spent a full three hour session just respeccing and arguing about whether a summoner build was worth it. Dave's kid is walking and talking now and we're still on the same freaking act. I love couch co-op but man, this save file is starting to feel like a second relationship I'm not sure I can leave. Has anyone else ever looked at their hour count and felt genuine embarrassment mixed with pride?
