Thought my buddy was just bad at Mario Kart until I actually watched his hands
We were at my place in Tucson on a Friday, four of us crammed on one couch for a Mario Kart 8 night. He kept losing on the same corner every single race, and I figured he just stunk. Then I looked over and saw he was holding the Joy-Con sideways with his thumb resting on the middle, not the stick. So I handed him my Pro Controller and he won three races straight, which was honestly kind of annoying. Anyone else ever find out a friend's problem was just the controller and not their skill?

Wait, he was holding it sideways and resting his thumb on the middle? Does he not play games much, or has he just been doing it wrong for years and nobody told him? My brother did the same thing with a Wii remote back in the day and we still give him grief about it.
