I finally looked up at my own tower after 3 weeks on the ground, and the paint job shocked me
Spent 3 weeks running a Potain on a hospital job in Boise and never once looked up past the hook. Last Tuesday a new guy on the ground asked why the mast looked so patchy, so I climbed down and walked across the lot to see it from his angle. Turns out the whole lower section had faded from that bright safety yellow to a chalky cream color in the sun, and I had no idea because I only ever saw the top from the cab. Anyone else notice their paint going flat way faster than expected, or is it just the dry heat out here?
