I finally swapped to a shorter boom after 6 years
Last week I was fighting a tight jobsite in Portland and couldn't get the hook where I needed it. An old hand told me to try a 70-footer instead of my usual 90, and it made the whole pick way smoother. Has anyone else had a specific boom length change your work flow?
