Lifted a load that nearly tipped me over on a job in Pittsburgh
I was running a Grove RT at a bridge repair site near the Monongahela last fall. Got cocky with a beam pick and the load started swinging when I didn't account for the wind. My spotter yelled "hold it, hold it" and I dropped the hook fast but the crane tilted a few degrees. Has anyone else had a close call that made you change how you set up your outriggers?
